Scrap Yarn Crochet Blanket

Scrap Yarn Crochet Blanket

I started this project ages ago with this awesome crochet half circle pattern that I found from this lady’s amazing blog: peoplewebs.blogspot.com and Etsy store

I thought it was really cute that she had each row a different color, and I did have a lot of left over yarn from other crochet projects. You know what I am talking about, a small left over ball not even enough to trim a scarf, that you hold on to even though you can’t do anything with it.

Finally putting the scraps to use!

What I have going is kind of ugly, the colors don’t go together as well as the colors in her blanket, and I have two separate columns started about 2 feet wide right now. So I don’t know if I will continue with it…

I had this girly daydream idea that I would make this blanket out of all my scrap yarn and have it draped over the foot of the bed I owned with my husband, and our possible children would crawl up on it and ask us to read books to them.

Ah to dream, to finish a blanket, haha.
