I like to talk/write about food, crafty projects, movies, TV series, maybe sometimes a little music, and when I’m feeling very daring and sophisticated, politics (this really hasn’t happened yet and I’m guessing may not).

Pecan Pie Cookies

I certainly always loved pecan pies, but I never was very good at making them myself. So I devised a recipe to create that pecan pie flavor bite sized!

Low Carb/Low Fat Cheesecake with Nut & Craisen Crust


  • 1/2 cup of brown sugar
  • 2 cups of mixed nuts (finely chopped)
  • 1 1/2 cup of Craisens (finely chopped)
  • 1/2 a stick of butter
  • Pinch of salt


  • 2 8oz packages of cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup of Truvia (fake sugar haha)
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 cups of sour cream
